COVID-19 Update

The safety of our colleagues and patients/research subjects is of paramount importance during these challenging times. Whilst the UK is leading through it's successful vaccination programme, and the infection rates across the UK are declining and allowing the relaxation of COVID restrictions, we are mindful that we still need to take steps to ensure everyone remains safe.

As an organisation, Luminary Clinical Trials Ltd does not force it's associates and staff members to be vaccinated with the new COVID-19 vaccines. However, through a programme of education and professional development, we ensure our team understand the benefits of vaccination and the difference between the types of vaccine, enabling them to make an informed choice about getting jabbed. However, the majority have either taken up vaccination or expressed the initention to be vaccinated.

Our service now offers initial consultations and assessments using a variety of platforms, such as Zoom and Teams. This allows one of our Mobile Clinicians to assess patients' needs remotely, helping to inform the planning of visits and care, whilst reducing your exposure to potential risk.

The health of our team members and patients/research subjects is a major priority at all times, but no more so than during the current crisis. Our Mobile Clinicians have continued to provide care and support throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic. To reduce risk and ensure the safety of all, our team have adequate supplies of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are required to take a lateral-flow COVID prior to any clinical visits, reporting the results for monitoring and surveillance purposes.
