Luminary Clinical Trials Limited provides mobile health care services for patients that are participating in clinical trials. We provide the necessary procedures to the patient regardless of their location, state of disease, study duration or frequency of visits.

We are one of the UK partners for Labcorp Drug Development, whose expansive, global network of clinicians bring the clinical trial to the patient's/subject's home (or alternative location). Study visits are completed by qualified Mobile Clinicians according to study procedures as contracted by the pharmaceutical company (the Sponsor).

Mobile clinical services will:

Reduce the patient/subject burden and increase engagement.
Extend patient/subject reach and improve diversity.
Enhance the NHS research site experience.
Accelerate study timelines through improved efficiencies.
Increase trial resiliency and ensure study continuity.
Study visits can be completed on the weekend, after hours and/or on holidays.

There are no additional costs to the NHS research sites or patients/subjects for utilising mobile clinical services, which will have been approved by the Sponsor for use during the study. Site visits will occur in conjunction with mobile visits throughout the study, supporting site revenue.

Mobile clinical services make it easier and more convenient for a patient/subject to participate and remain engaged with a clinical trial. This can result in positive outcomes for NHS clinical research sites such as higher enrolment, ability to recruit from a larger geographical area, and reduced travel for the patient/subject, which can lead to an increase in retention, compliance and revenue. In short they enhance the ability of NHS research sites to be successful in supporting clinical trials.

Mobile clinical services are available to patients/subjects that have been enrolled a study by the investigator site, usually based at NHS Hospitals. Using study specific training manuals approved by the sponsors, we prepare our experienced staff for the requested procedures. The training documentation, mobile clinician’s CV, DBS, licenses and certificates are forward to the Principal Investigator for approval prior to the visits. We comply with Personal Data Protection regulations and our experienced staff are Good Clinical Practice (GCP) trained.

We have a small network of mobile clinician Associates across the nations who support visits wherever and whenever they might be required.
